Foolproof Homemade Sandwich Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1½ tbsp yeast
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 2 tsp salt
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- Extra butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Whisk milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes.
- Add honey, egg, butter, salt, and flour. Knead for 5 minutes.
- Let rise 1–1½ hours until doubled. Divide and shape into loaves.
- Place in greased pans. Let rise 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Brush with butter and cool.
